Howard University Hosts First Lady Michelle Obama as well as co-host of the television show “106 & Park” and rapper Bow Wow.
Chicago People’s Union, a Howard student organization, hosted their 11th annual “Escape to the Mecca.” Every year, the organization invites students from the Chicago Public School System to visit the campus. This year, the tour was joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and TV personality and rapper, Bow Wow.
One high school student said she planned to pay her enrollment fee for Howard that very day, adding “this has been the most phenomenal day of my life.”
